| Lately
I have noticed many televisions shows focusing on
Dating and Relationships. To name just a few
(that are popular) I have found, "Blind Date,"
"Change of Heart," "A Dating Story,"
"Temptation Island," and of course the
incredibly popular show "Survivor." |
| This
topic is certainly not new. In the past we have
had numerous shows and articles on dating and relationships.
What I find absolutely fascinating is that
these shows are not limited to the traditional questions
about "relationship." People are asking
deeper and more taboo questions! They are demanding
the truth. As uncomfortable as it is, I find these
questions profound, and exciting. |
| I am
certainly aware that this issue is not just limited
to television. There are movies, magazine articles
and newspaper stories that are also focusing on
the art and reality of the collective
desire to relate. Needless to say, relationships
are important and currently under a tremendous amount
of focus in the media. |
| What
is a relationship? The dictionary describes
it as the following: "The state of being related
by kindred, affinity, or other alliance. Also, a
state of affairs existing between those having relations
or dealings, a romantic or passionate attachment."
Ok, but just how do I do it? |

The Mind Versus the Soul
|
| The mind
wants answers and solutions. It demands them. "Tell
me what to do!" it shouts. "I need answers!!"
it screams. "Tell me my future!!!" |
| Fortunately
we are not just our minds. We have a Soul.
If the Mind wants solutions, the Soul
wants Consciousness. The mind is caught in the
element of time, the soul is caught in the element
of timelessness. I teach my clients Consciousness.
Not solutions. Why? Solutions come from the mind,
Consciousness comes from the heart. Consciousness
is timeless and will always work in the moment.
Solutions only work in isolated situations. Isolated
situations are not the deeper and more compassionate
way to understand and function in relationships.
Use your mind to get the Engine started. In the
long term, consciousness, your heart, you love is
needed, NOT solutions. The reality is that we need
to become more aware of our deeper levels of consciousness.

Consciousness - Not Solutions!!

| I do
a lot of relationship counseling in my practice.
Among many of the first questions my clients ask
me are, "Will it work out between us? Are we
meant to be together? What do the charts say? Do
we have a karmic relationship? What should I do?
Should I stay or should I go?" |
|
Relationship Astrology is fascinating
and enlightening. It does not tell a person whether
they should or should not be with
someone but rather indicates the planetary energies
that exist between the two people and how
to navigate these prominent energies more successfully.
The Relationship chart is actually a chart based
on the midpoints of the two individuals birth
charts. This Chart (called a Composite) looks
exactly the same as a Birth chart only now it
represents the personality and soul of the
couple.

I encourage you
to approach your relationships with consciousness
rather than solutions. Solutions come from the
mind, Consciousness comes from the heart.

| A powerful
book that will help you to understand your birth
date and how it relates to our ancient playing card
deck. Lots of tools. It will be used in the March
23rd workshop. I love this book! Sacred Symbols
of the Ancients by Edith Randall and Florence Campbell.
