Astrological highlights for the Month
of October!
October is a month full of many shifts
and changes. It is a good idea to have your chart updated
to know where these changes will specifically be occurring
for you. Todays Wisdom is a brief outline
of these changes. I will be writing more complete
Wisdom Teachings on some of these cycles as the month moves on.
Autumnal Equinox September 22nd “The beginning
of fall”
Fall is officially here. Last Sunday,
September 22nd the Sun moved into the Astrological sign
of Libra marking the first day of autumn. Did you know
that all of the cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra
& Capricorn) “lead” us into the seasons?
The Wisdom for fall is that fall always signifies Change
and the time to “begin the descent” into the
dark time of the year. It is time to embrace the wisdom
of letting go and releasing old worn out patterns
or behaviors.
Mercury Retrograde/Direct October 6th
Mercury is retrograde in the sign of Libra and will
move back into the sign of Virgo on Wednesday. It will
then move direct on Sunday October 6th. The Wisdom needed
during this week is, “what still needs rethinking
and reorganizing before Mercury moves direct this Sunday,
and what does “patience in my thinking” teach
me?”
New Moon/Full Moon Cycle Plan and Power
Cycle starts October 6th
Sunday October 6th begins the New Moon cycle at 13 degrees
of Libra. Tuesday, October 21st is the Full Moon at
27 degrees Aries. Check your chart to see where this
cycle will be affecting you personally. This starts
our Plan and Power Cycle. The New Moon is a time to
Plan and begin projects and the Full Moon is
a Power time and a time for completion of the projects
you initiated on the new moon cycle. More info on

Venus Retrograde October 10th
Venus
will go retrograde on Thursday October 10th in the sign
of Scorpio. The wisdom needed during this time is reflection
on personal power in relationships and getting balance
and peace in your life. It will move direct on November
21st.
Saturn Retrograde October 11th
Saturn will retrograde
on Friday, October 11th in the sign of Gemini. The wisdom
needed during this time is reflection on responsibilities,
patience and focused discipline regarding listening
and communication. It will go direct on February
22, 2003.
Neptune Stations Direct October 20th
Neptune has
been retrograde since May 13th, 2002 in the sign of
Aquarius. It will move direct on Sunday, October 20th.
Neptune is a planet of transcendence and deep healing.
The wisdom of this cycle is about moving forward
with healing your higher thoughts and bringing deeper
compassion to your life through your higher mind.
Life is not a situation, but a process;
Not static, but dynamic.
It’s essential element is change, and
The great question facing each of us
Is whether we will channel that
Change in the directions we want
To go, shaping our destiny, or
Whether we will permit our activities
And our character to be determined by
Those random forces we call fate.
To the extent that we procrastinate,
We are following the second course.
