“Excellence is never an accident.
It is always the result of high intention, sincere effort,
And intelligent execution;
It represents the wise choice of many alternatives

How to Achieve Excellence

Achieving excellence is a journey. Excellence is developed over time through thoughtful and wise work and a continued passionate focus on providing non-stop services to the community. It is a result of deep, soulful passion and continued performance.

Strive for Excellence, not Perfection

Focus on excellence. Excellence paves the way for improvement, while perfection breeds stagnation and limits change, necessary innovation, and creativity. Perfection is a fantasy, but excellence is possible and feasible. Excellence has an eye for delivering high-quality goods and services, as well as overcoming obstacles.

Here are my top 3 tips for achieving excellence.

  1. Be passionate.  When you do what you love, you don’t feel like you are working, so you derive pleasure from it—being passionate keeps you involved. When you are involved, the sky is the limit on your success.

  2. Find a mentor.  Find someone who excels in your field and who solicits continuous feedback. Feedback helps you spot where you need improvement. Continuous improvement paves the way for ultimate success.

  3. Work smart.  Working smart is about detailed preparations and a plan to proceed with new ideas. Innovative work conserves time, money, and resources.

Why Achieve Awards

Recognition is based on merit and is achieved by providing invaluable services within a community. Providing joy and music to the community through music lessons is a way to achieve excellence.
Focus on excellence, not perfection, and as a result, you will bring quality, not perfection, to whatever you do!
