The Two of Hearts is a Love Card that is very curious about people, and has very high ideals around Love.

They often stay focused on the deepest concepts of Love, and tied right next to this, is their also intense desire for knowledge.  These two concepts must be equally strived for in their lives, or they will suffer.

One without the other can lead to great melancholy later in life.  Therefore, they must learn to exact a “balance” with love and knowledge.

Their curiosity knows no bounds, and they are often asking the question that most people are afraid to ask.  This will deepen their understanding of how to love.  And not only to love themselves, but to choose a partner with whom they can create a profound union.

The concept of the Union is of great interest.  All 2’s in the Life Cards have a desire to “complement,” or find their other half in life.  For the two of Hearts, it is a union of love.   Complete, beautiful, and with a remarkable ability to engage in conversations that lead to a deeper and more meaningful connection.

The shadow side of this card is the feeling that they must have someone in their lives, or suffer being alone. They must learn from their only other Karma card, the Ace of Clubs, that to be with the wrong person rather than be alone can be of equal suffering and anguish.  The feeling of being alone with the WRONG person is a profound betrayal of the choice we have in who we love, why we love them, and how we love them.  Acceptance of this truth is necessary to find the happiness they seek.

The Two of Hearts day is a day to remember that it is always a choice to be alone, and to make sure that whoever you are with on this day is with someone you feel a profound union with.  It is a day to complete a project or have a conversation with someone who will feel complete and loving.
